I just listen to the audio for the video when doing my CoreFirst stuff.  I do energizing beats for most of the stuff that I do, but when I'm doing Yoga or rolling, I like listening to Binaural Beats.  I find having that on through headphones helps me pay attention to what my body is saying to me.

Finished Day 6.  I am loving the feeling in my body that reminds me that I worked out even though the workout was less than an hour.  These exercises are hitting all different areas of my body that I haven't always thought about how to workout before.  And I love using the straps to stretch!  After the challenge, I think those will be used at least 3 times a week.

I was thinking the exact same thing!  Love knowing moving forward that when I don't have a lot of time, I can do one from that series and will still feel like I worked out when the 7 minutes are up.

Forgot to post yesterday even though I did the workout.  Originally I only have the medium and heavy bands, but I treated myself to the light bands for Christmas.  Was super glad I had them for the day 4 workout.  Most of my power has always been in my lower body, so when the workout focuses on the upper body, that lighter band was just right!  I will say since I am posting a day later, that my triceps aren't as bad as I was afraid they would be today.

I really enjoyed Day5 and using the bands along with the system.  It seemed to amp the workout up a notch.

I have had my system for over a year and signed up for this same challenge last year.  I didn't make it a priority and I don't think I even finished week 1.  This year, I feel I am in a different place mentally and emotionally and I am loving all the workouts and I am looking forward to making these workouts a regular part of my fitness routine even after the 30 day challenge ends.

Also, I love all the tips that Madison shares!

I am enjoying the variety to the workouts that we have done so far.  Because of an injury that happened what seems like a lifetime ago, I used to have good balance from physical therapy.  I have been out of the game for awhile and this mornings workout made that abundantly clear.  Loved the challenge of trying to do the moves on the block.  Also, extremely thankful there wasn't a camera in the room I did the workout in this morning.  While it wasn't pretty, I enjoyed the challenge and I am looking forward to repeating this workout after the 30 days to see how my balance has improved.

COREFIRST™ PILATES An email would be great!  Or just a reference for how far away from the anchor point the mat should be.  With this mornings video, I put the mat where the wrist part of the straps touched the edge of the mat when laid out at their longest without me pulling on them.  It seemed a good distance, but would like to know if y'all set it up differently so I make sure I'm getting the most out of my workouts.

Thank you for the response!

My abs were not happy campers this morning.  It is amazing the workout that is packed into a 6 minute video!

The stretch video was amazing!  It allowed me to stretch a little deeper than normal and gave me good resistance.  I could relax into the stretch because of the resistance of the bands rather than fighting with my body and gravity.  I plan on making my husband do that one later.  So much good information shared during the videos as well, not just what move to do, but things to consider or adjust as well as telling you what is happening in your body or why you want to incorporate the move.  I love understanding the why.

I also really appreciated the internal challenge.  So often I get busy and do things out of habit or on auto pilot.  The internal challenge makes you take the time to be more intentional and present about participating in the challenge.

I have the older black set.  It was given to me as well as the mat.  I haven't seen a video or any instruction on how far I should put the mat from my anchor point.  I have noticed the instructor referencing being at a 2 or a 3, but I'm not sure if I have my mat where it should be to follow those instructions.

Thanks for any explanation or tips that you can offer!

This month I am loving myself whether I workout or not.  I have some challenges that limit when I can workout.  This month I will take a slow easy walk those days and know that is loving myself rather than being frustrated or pushing my body into pain in order to complete a workout.

Finished Day 1.  Not sure if this is where we post for each day or if it should be somewhere different.  I enjoyed the video.  I haven't focused much on my core lately, so the roll-ups were challenging, I was definitely grabbing up on the bands to assist me up more.  I can't wait to see the improvement that 30 days of practice will yield.  Looking forward to doing this challenge with everyone!
