Cauliflower Buffalo Bites
A healthier twist on traditional buffalo wings, these cauliflower bites are baked to perfection and coated in a spicy buffalo sauce, offering a satisfying and flavorful snack.
Ingredients:
• 1 medium cauliflower, cut into florets
• 1/2 cup whole wheat flour
• 1/2 cup water
• 1 teaspoon garlic powder
• 1/2 teaspoon onion powder
• 1/2 teaspoon paprika
• Salt and pepper to taste
• 1/2 cup buffalo sauce
• 1 tablespoon melted butter (optional)
Instructions:
1. Preheat the oven to 450°F (230°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
2. In a bowl, whisk together the flour, water, garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, salt, and pepper to create a batter.
3. Dip each cauliflower floret into the batter, ensuring they are well coated, and place them on the prepared baking sheet.
4. Bake for 20-25 minutes or until the cauliflower is golden brown and crispy.
5. In a separate bowl, mix the buffalo sauce and melted butter. Toss the baked cauliflower in the sauce until evenly coated. Serve with celery sticks and your favorite dip.
