Hi Maki! Such a great question. Since your head is close to the anchor point, a lighter band will require more engagement of the core. A medium or heavy band will be easier on the core but require more engagement from the glutes and back of legs! Pick your own adventure! :)

🥳Try these for your New Years party! 🥳

Ingredients:

Cookies:

• 1 cup cooked quinoa, cooled

• 1/2 cup coconut flour

• 1/4 cup maple syrup

• 1/4 cup coconut oil, melted

• 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

• Pinch of salt

Raspberry Chia Jam:

• 1 cup raspberries (fresh or frozen)

• 2 tablespoons chia seeds

• 2 tablespoons maple syrup

Instructions:

1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (180°C).

2. In a bowl, combine cooked quinoa, coconut flour, maple syrup, melted coconut oil, vanilla extract, and a pinch of salt.

3. Shape the dough into small balls and place them on a baking sheet.

4. Make a thumbprint indentation in the center of each cookie.

5. Bake for 12-15 minutes or until the edges are golden brown.

6. While the cookies are baking, prepare the raspberry chia jam by combining raspberries, chia seeds, and maple syrup in a saucepan. Cook until it thickens.

7. Once the cookies are cooled, fill the thumbprint indentations with the raspberry chia jam.
