Avocado Chocolate Mousse with Raspberry Coulis
We’re getting fancy over here! Now, we know Avocados cost an arm and a leg these days, but this recipe might just be worth it in our book!
Ingredients:
3 ripe avocados
200g dark chocolate, melted
1/4 cup cocoa powder
1/4 cup maple syrup (adjust to taste)
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
Raspberries (for coulis and garnish)
Splash of lemon juice
Instructions:
In a blender or food processor, combine:
3 ripe avocados
200g melted dark chocolate
1/4 cup cocoa powder
1/4 cup maple syrup (adjust to taste)
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
Blend the ingredients until you achieve a smooth and creamy consistency for the avocado chocolate mousse.
In a separate blender, make the raspberry coulis by blending:
Raspberries (quantity based on preference)
A splash of lemon juice
Layer the avocado chocolate mousse with the raspberry coulis in serving glasses or bowls.
Optionally, garnish with additional raspberries for a burst of freshness.
